Loyalty to Israel? More like betrayal as so-called 'Israeli Arabs' arejoining al-Qaeda

Israel’s Security agency says Israeli Arabs are joining rebel forces in Syria operating with al-Qaeda, and whose training may be used later against Israel.

A disconcerting Shin Bet assessment warns that Arab Israelis are joining rebel forces in Syria and working with al-Qaeda terrorists.

According to the review, submitted to the State Prosecutor’s Office and the Supreme Court, there is a possibility that Arab Israelis who are being trained in Syria may use their knowledge against Israel – both by spreading ideologies and by using intel and military capabilities they’ve learned there 

Another danger is that Global Jihad terrorists will gather valuable information about Israel from Arab Israelis.

The review was submitted with an appeal by the State regarding the release of Abed al-Kader Altala, a 26-year-old Tayibe resident who was studying pharmacology in Jordan and attempted to join the jihad movement in Syria.

When he returned to Israel he was arrested and tried for contacting and fraternizing with a foreign agent and unlawfully exiting the country.

In the appeal, submitted by the Justice Ministry’s senior attorney Joey Asch, it was claimed that Altala testified to believing in radical Islamic-Salafist ideology.

Security officials maintain that his actions show commitment to Global Jihad and he should therefore remain in custody.

The appeal quoted the Shin Bet’s review, which describes how warzones in Afghanistan and Syria are used by terrorist organizations to train members and develop ideology and infrastructure.

It also said that Syria is perceived by al-Qaeda to be a pivotal arena where battles to topple the regime are key to the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine.

Arab states will push ahead with a bid to single out Israel for criticism over its assumed atomic
arsenal at this week's UN nuclear agency meeting, despite Western pressure to refrain, a senior representative said on Friday. In other words they are trying to deceive the gullible UN to thinking that Israel, as well as themselves, should be treated the same, despite Israel being a democracy and they being bronzed aged barbarians.
 
Frustrated over the indefinite postponement last year of an international conference on banning atomic arms in the region, Arab states have proposed a non-binding resolution expressing concern about "Israeli nuclear capabilities".
 
We bet they are.

 

The United States said this week the move would hurt broader diplomatic efforts towards creating a Middle East zone free of weapons of mass destruction. Israel rightly said it would deal a "serious blow" to any attempt to hold regional security talks.
 
But Ambassador Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy, head of the Arab League group at the IAEA, made clear the text would not be withdrawn before a vote expected later on Friday.
 

The aim of these arabs is to disarm Israel
in preparation for attack

"The world has to know that Israel is not playing a constructive role, that Israel has a (nuclear) capability," Ramzy told Reuters.
 
So lets get this right - A gang of arabs in the nations surrounding Israel have got together and are demanding, in simple terms, that Israel give up its nuclear capabilities. In other words disarm itself. 

 These same countries have invaded Israel on a number of occasions in the past, the most memorable being the 6 Day War in 1967 when they all attacked Israel, unprovoked, with the aim of wiping the Jewish State from the face of the earth. These same countries, that by the way, occupy 96 per cent of the middle east, surrounding tiny Israel that occupies just 4 per cent of that continent, they expect that tiny country to give up its means of self defence knowing fully well that the aims of those countries since it existence has been to wipe it out.
 
Pull the other one! 
 
Meanwhile the Nazi government in Iran this week said Israel's nuclear activities "seriously threaten regional peace and security".
 
This coming despite Iran over the last few years calling for Israel's destruction, not forgetting denying the holocaust and even actively arming Israel's terrorists enemies.
 
World powers agreed in 2010 to an Egyptian plan for an international meeting to lay the groundwork for creating a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction.
But the United States, one of the big powers to co-sponsor the meeting, said late last year it would not take place as planned last December and did not suggest a new date.
 
Arab diplomats said they refrained from putting forward the resolution on Israel at the 2011 and 2012 IAEA meetings to boost the chances of the Middle East conference but it had no effect.
"We have engaged seriously and constructively in the preparations (for the conference). The Israelis have been playing for time, delaying, we have never seen enough seriousness on their part," Ramzy said.
 
Israel's atomic energy chief, Shaul Chorev, told this week's IAEA meeting that Arab states were using it as a platform for "repeatedly bashing" his country. The Arab move only deepens "existing distrust" among the region's countries, he said.
 
Our only message to the Israeli government is simple - Until the Arab nations genuinely give up their hatred of the Jewish State, stop demanding its destruction, stop committing terrorist supporting acts against Israel, clamp down of its anti-Semitic rhetoric, stop brainwashing their children that Jews should be wiped out, stop funding organisations that actively train and commit terrorists attacks on Israel, amongst a lot of things - then Israel should and must have a nuclear deterrent as well as a strong conventional deterrent to protect itself from the above.

Judea and Samaria Arabs Dig Tunnels Under Security Fence

The main concern is that terrorists would use these tunnels to abduct hitchhiking soldiers.

Until recently, Judea and Samaria Arabs would sneak into Israel by climbing the fence, cutting the barbed wire and severing the alarm system. But now security forces have foiled at least two infiltration attempts through tunnels dug under the fence near the Israeli Arab town of Taiba, Maariv reported.

The main concern is that terrorists would use these tunnels to abduct hitchhiking soldiers.

The Gaza tunnels, connecting the Hamas ruled strip to Egypt, are being used to smuggle weapons, food and construction materials, have long become the primary means of supplying the local Arab population. But the newly discovered tunnels connecting Judea and Samaria to Israel are not needed as supply routes – local Arabs enjoy direct access to goods, both receiving and ecporting. These new tunnels can only serve clandestine ends.

So far, the Arab terrorist cell that attempted to pass through the tunnels managed to flee before the army forces arrived, so their goals in infiltrating Israel, as well as their organizational affiliation are yet to be investigated.

The failed attempt to sneak through tunnels dug under the fence joins other common ways that the Arabs have been trying, including climbing over the fence, cutting off contact alert system and cutting the fence.

In the Tulkarm area, the IDF has discovered more sophisticated attempts to break through the fence, including the “window opening,” which involves cutting the fence, going through it and then leaving the cut part whole, so as not to arouse the suspicion of IDF patrols.

When completed, the Israeli security barrier’s total length will be approximately 700 kilometres (430 miles). It is credited with much of Israel’s success in nearly stopping terrorist attacks from Judea and Samaria.

Security Chief: IDF Taking Off the Silk Gloves

The IDF is ending its ‘silk glove treatment’ of Arabs who attack Israeli towns with rocks and firebombs, security chief says.

The IDF is increasingly determined to stop Palestinian Authority-resident Arabs’ attacks on Israeli communities, and is willing to use live fire if necessary, says Yehuda Dana, security chief for the Beit El region.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Dana said there has been an escalation in Arab attacks on Israeli civilians in recent months. “Their brazenness has crossed the line – they are doing what they didn’t do for years, like reaching the fence of an Israeli community and throwing rocks into the community, causing injuries,” he related.

Until now, Arab rioters were handled “with silk gloves,” he said, with soldiers restricting themselves to non-lethal means of riot dispersal such as tear gas and rubber bullets
“Unfortunately, the Palestinians realized that they were facing an opponent that could not defeat them,” he said.

However, he said, things are changing. “There is a change in the decisiveness, in the determination to end this phenomenon… I hope the other side realizes that the ‘silk glove treatment’ is over.”

Dana gave the new commander for the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier-General Tamir Yadai, much off the credot or the change. “We met with the new District Commander and the conversation was positive hope the commander’s spirit reaches every last soldier,” he said.

“Yadai made it clear that rocks will not be allowed to cross the fence around communities, and that it is unthinkable that residents or property be damaged,” he explained. “He emphasized that he would take a firm approach in response to such incidents.”

Residents of the Beit El region were pleased to see IDF troops taking a strong stance against rock attacks and firebombing, Dana said, but are waiting to see if the situation will last. “Ultimately the results will speak for themselves,” he concluded.

Arab Breaks Chair on Elderly Jew's Head

Scenes reminiscent of 1920s and 30s becoming commonplace in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.

Another day, another story of a brutal attack by Arabs against Jews. And as usual, most news outlets will not cover this news.

A large-bodied Arab man attacked an elderly Jew in Jerusalem's Old City last Saturday. The victim's daughter, Tali Hoffman, told Arutz Sheva that her father was making his way to Shacharit prayers, as he does every Sabbath, from his home in the Muslim Quarter to the Kotel.
When he arrived at HaGay Street, just a few dozen meters from the Kotel, the Arab man stepped out of a falafel shop and tried to knock him down by shoving a chair toward his legs. Having failed to knockdown the Jew, the Arab then threw the chair at Hoffman's head.

The chair broke from the force of the blow. Hoffman's father suffered a deep cut in his arm, which he had used to protect his head. The Arab escaped and other Arabs who were present did nothing to help the  bleeding Jew. Border Policemen who had been nearby escorted the Jew to the Kishle station, where he received first aid and lodged a complaint.

Hoffman noted that 15 years ago, her husband was murdered close to the spot where the attack took place. Her father lives in the house that his murdered son-in-law had built, in the Muslim Quarter. The house had been a stable and had belonged to Jews.

Hoffman said that her father did not want to talk about the incident. She explained that he had experienced the Holocaust and that people of his generation did not like to talk about things of this nature.

Brutal attacks against Jews have become increasingly commonplace in Israel, wherever Jews and Arabs live in proximity. Readers of Arutz Sheva are painfully aware of the situation, which is becoming reminiscent of the Arab Rebellion and popular terror of the 1920s and 30s, but other news media peddle a different narrative.

Whereas there was no Jewish police or army in the 1920s and 30s, they do exist today, but have been hamstrung by leftist subversion in the universities media, courts and political system.
