The UK Government to the rescue - The plastic bag revolution has begunand the world is saved - You see readers we do like to make you smile

UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg feels that there is an issue so important he is personally making it his mission to get to grips with it for the betterence of human kind.
Terrorism? Islamification of the UK? The rape of hundreds of children in the UK by Muslim gangs? The butchering of young men on British streets? Bombs? Terror plots....?
Nope to all the above - instead Nick Clegg   has unveiled plans for a 5p charge on plastic bags in England & is making it his new mission to save the planet and get to grips with the world of plastic bags.
WOW - well talk about being deflated!
This crusaders plan is aimed at discouraging the use of carrier bags and could begin in 2015.
Mr Clegg, who unveiled the policy ahead of the Lib Dems' party conference in Glasgow, confirmed there had been a "debate" in the coalition government about the change during a difficult time for the economy.
"If the policy is successful, nobody will pay anything extra at all - all you do is reuse a thicker, sturdier plastic bag... this is absolutely not about seeking to raise costs for shoppers," he said.
This is just getting too exciting!
He went on to say "You might use them for 20 minutes walking back from the shops, but they take a thousand years to degrade and that's bad for the environment"
Is this man really serious?
"It's an eyesore in our beautiful countryside" Clegg said referring to discarded plastic bags and obviously forgetting the eyesores in the shape of mosques with domes with half moon cresents sprouting up in every British town.
"What we're doing is introducing something that other countries have done to reduce the number of disposable plastic bags and encourage us to use sturdier, reusable bags."
So there we have it guys and gals - Humanity is thus saved - the British plastic bag revolution has begun and will obviously solve all the worlds ills and before we know it there will be peace in the Middle East, Israel will suddenly be safe and world terrorism will be gone.
So that's why the UK parliment voted against Syrian intervention. They had this one up their sleeve.
But seriously, we do really believe the British government need to get real and do a reality check to the threat the world faces in the shape of terrorism, Islamism and suffering to humanity this blotch has caused and will continue to cause till dimmy's like Mr Clegg get their acts together and focus on the real dangers and not the 'plastic' ones.
