Iran announces mass production of Shahed 129 drone not longafter 'assuring' Obama of its peaceful intentions. Perhaps these dronescarry 'Flower missiles?'

Iran has announced on Friday that it will start mass producing a new unmanned drone with missile and bombing capabilities, Iranian press reported.

According to Iranian Revolution Guards Corps commander Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Shahed 129 "can hit and destroy targets from a far distance with its Sadid (Iron-Strong) missiles."

This coming after Iran's 'Assurances' to the west of its new found 'peaceful' intentions.

It can carry eight missiles and bombs at the same time, and hit both stationary and mobile targets up to 1,700 kilometers away, according to reports on Iran's Press TV.

And guess what? The distance from Iran to Israel is 1785.53 kilometers. We're sure with a bit of tinkering they could squeeze in another 80 or so miles.

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) can fly for 24 hours on a single fuel run, and is designed for both reconnaissance and combat missions, Jafari said in September 2012, when the drone was first unveiled.

The drone, Press TV reported, has monitoring capabilities of a 200 kilometer radius.
Jafari boasted that other than Iran, only the US has the technological know-how to build such a drone.

“This smart, precise and cheap [piece of] technology can facilitate the work of thousands of soldiers, [police] stations and different border guard structures which face numerous hardships and vulnerabilities and it can take charge of the security of [the country’s] borders,” he said, according to the Fars news agency.

We think that it doesn't take much brain power to work out that everything Iran does hasn't nothing to do with defense and everything to do with OFFENSE! Iran is developing weaponry at ease now that it has conned Obama and Co into a state of apathy and the world will learn the hard way the lessons of appeasement, as it did prior to World War Two but sadly people have short memories!
