Fatah gunmen in video promise to kidnap Israelis

Footage shows masked terrorists showing off rockets, pledging to even the score with ‘Zionist soldiers’

The armed wing of the Palestinian Fatah party threatened to kidnap Israeli soldiers and fire rockets into the country in a video uploaded this month to Facebook and YouTube.

“We are set to kidnap Zionist soldiers,” promised a masked al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade gunman in the video, according to a translation from Palestinian Media Watch.
“Yes, we in al-Aqsa Brigades, are deployed to kidnap more Zionist soldiers, to even the score with the Zionist enemy, to empty the Zionist prison camps,” he continued.
The video was uploaded to the al-Aqsa Brigade’s YouTube page on November 16, and the Fatah Facebook page the next day.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade is the armed wing of the ruling Fatah party, and has been designated as a terrorist organization by Israel, the US, the EU, and other countries.
The video features footage of terrorists standing between rows of dozens of rockets.
“With these rockets, we will free our Jerusalem, with these rockets we will crush the Zionist enemy in sensitive areas,” promised one of the masked terrorists.
The footage does not mention Israel by name, calling it instead “occupied Palestinian territories.”
Fatah, founded by Yasser Arafat and headed by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, is the largest faction in the Palestine Liberation Organization.
