THIS BLOGS VIEW OF SYRIA - setting the record straight

We would like to clear a few points up, if we may! There's much confusion over the Syrian conflict & members of the public are either confused or accuse people of supporting this or that cause because they happen to have an opinion of the other.

For instance those that want Assad toppled are accused of supporting the terrorists rebels & those that despise the terrorist rebels are being accused of being pro-Assad.

The problem with this conflict is that BOTH SIDES are in reality the same enemy, with the same warped view point, the only difference is its simply two power struggles. A bit like gang warfare on the same block.

We on this blog take the following viewpoint, just to clear this matter up.

We whole heatedly condemn the arming if 'terrorist' rebels which we believe is not only an insult to western tax payers, but also it assists our world enemy who will eventually and obviously, use those weapons against us.

At the same time we also whole heartedly believe the free world should remove Assad and install proper democracy in the region. We believe Assad is a threat to the free world and he must be taken out before Syria AND Iran can effectively form a cohesive force that could potentially lead to global destruction.

Americas Obama & Britain's Cameron for the past year have been stupidly been giving Assad breathing space and time to prepare by insanely arming his enemies, who are in fact also OUR enemies, in the crazy notion that it might topple him. 

But it has now backfired and all they have done is, as stated, given Assad time to arm and thousands of chemically gassed civilians would be alive today if these two so-called world leaders had taken the more sensible and responsible option from the start & toppled Assad by western intervention - Yes military intervention. 

So our view point is as thus - 

"We firmly believe that military intervention by Western Military Forces to topple Assad is the right thing to do for world security and to install proper democracy in that country, that is proper democracy by the way, not a half hearted islamist invested government like was installed in both Iraq and Afghanistan, governments that were in reality clones of what was there before. 

"At the same time we believe also that to arm his enemies, who are also OUR enemies, was the wrong thing to do and believe we must put right the wrongs done by our governments and fight these terrorists also until they are destroyed"

We hope this helps people understand where we stand on the situation in Syria.
